The Chair!
Here it is! Many hours of blood, sweat, and tears. This is my pride and joy, my baby, and great success of the semester.
I love that Patrick Daly. Not only did he take great photos of my chair, but supported me in every way possible throughout the process.
Advance Illustration & Design Brochure
This assignment was to design a fake brochure for an artist's show. We got to choose anyone we wanted dead or alive and I chose my inspiration, Alphonse Mucha. This was a fun final project! 1. I got to look at Mucha all day long and 2. I discovered I have somewhat of a sense of Design! I chose a fun accordion-fold format that was interesting to look at in your hands, but REALLY fun to look at all spread out.

Fabulous Fabrics for Function!
So here it is! Our final for this class was to do some research and design a pattern off of the subject that inspired us. I chose two different cultures to get inspiration from, the Mayans and Samoans. I absolutely love learning about Mayans and have just recently discovered the beautiful Samoan tattoos! So combining the two cultures I came up with this pattern and silk-screened it with dyes on a shear white chiffon. It's really comfortable and perfect for the summer! I can't wait until I can wear it out!

Book Cover Final
Here is one out of five final pieces completed! The assignment was to illustrate a book cover. Our instructor, Cathy Gendron, gave us this heart-wrenching story to read, which was about a boy who loses his entire family in a tsunami. Although it was very sad, I really enjoy it. (Don't worry it's a happy ending)

The Chair!
In case you were wondering. The Chair is finished and will be out on display sometime this week in the Illustration hallway. Go check it out, but may God save your soul if you sit in it. I will post detailed images soon.
On a side note, the chair will have a friend. Keep an eyeball out for my last project of the semester.
