Drawing, drawing, drawling?
The Detroit Shoppe asked the two Senior Studios to design posters representing Detroit. They are located in Somerset and sell Michigan made products and memorabilia. I have a great love for the city and I feel honored to be given this opportunity to create something that I feel passionate about.
I wanted to represent a latin phrase that the city used long ago that I find very powerful to this day:
"SPERAMUS MELIORA; RESURGET CINERIBUS."
"WE HOPE FOR BETTER THINGS; IT SHALL RISE FROM THE ASHES."
The image is of Detroit's supporters lifting the city.

Hagopian Rug Design Submissions
Here are my designs for the 23rd annual Hagopian Rug Design Competition. This year's theme is capturing the essence of Michigan. The first one on the left represents the creativity coming from the city of Detroit and the new hope it brings. The design on the right represents two things that Michigan is well known for, its industry and coastline.
Wish me luck!
